I was all cute and nice last week and I felt like changing this week.
Last week I let one of the owners brush my fur and pet me and I looked at her with cute little eyes, and I think she really enjoyed it. But I am upset with her so I am going to act badly. I don't know how it will turn out though, since she is the one who cleans up after me and feeds me. This may backfire, but I will continue with it for a little while. I like to be chased around the yard when it is dark out, but she doesn't so now she is ignoring me. We'll see who breaks first.
~Matilda~

Planting

So the owners were planting in the backyard today. They move to different parts of the yard about every three months. For the last few days they have been sitting under a bench swing in the back yard. They have moved because they know that the flowers nearby will start blooming soon and they don't want to miss out on eating the buds before we can see any flowers. We try to protect the plants, but they seem to find ways to eat them, just like the snails do. I also am thinking about changing Bonnie's name to Tubby because she was practically in the same spot as this morning, which was with her head stuck in the food bowl (not literally stuck). I made noise as i came up to them, which scared her into leaving the bowl. Usually she doesn't scare easily, especially if she has settled into a spot. Well that's it for now, maybe they will update this later.

Very upset pt. 2

I am one of the owners, and I am very upset with they two of them. I was so upset that they were interrupting my quiet time under our tent. Mattie was ecstatic because she loves the attention, even if she is not the center of it. She was going after all the branches that were falling down. She likes darting in between everyone in the back yard. I was being poked by a branch by one owner. She made me get up and go hide under some other plants. Mattie was also poked but she enjoyed it. She just wanted to play and run (jump) around the yard. I have not had the opportunity to try and swim, so it could be possible. If you build an in ground pool for my family I can be the first one in and see how well I can swim, of course I can only do this under the supervision of someone else who can swim.
Today Bonnie and I just sat under the orange tree that we like so much. The other trees are bare right now so they are not fun to sit under. The weather was nice out, but we have heard that it is going to rain in the next few days. We like to sit outside in light drizzle, just not in a downpour. Well I have to get off the computer right now before my owner finds out I have been using it when she doesn't want me to.

It is raining

So we have to stay inside today. There is no sunshine and no way for us to frolic in the grass. Well to be honest, we don't frolic, we move slowly and lie down a lot. But we like sitting under trees while doing this and there are no trees inside the house. If you would like to send us a living tree that we could take care of inside we would be very grateful; we like orange trees, and it has to smell good, and something that the squirrels would be jealous of when we showed it to them. And it should be big enough so we can move around under it, but it doesn't block all the light. We woulsd also like it if we could have real, not artificial light inside.

another exciting time

So we got to lay around yesterday. Bonnie was covered with a blanket by one of our owners, and she just laid there for a while before it got too uncomfortable having the blanket. Then we had fun rolling the blanket into a ball so that no one could use it to lay on. When food is placed in a bowl and the bowl is light, we like to pick it up and dump all of the food on the ground. Then we can eat the food straight off the ground, and if we do that with our grains in the back yard the birds also will eat with us. The birds are nice because they do not scare us.
